Warranty & Care – Kabluchka Jewellery
Version dated 18 July 2026. An integral part of the Public Offer. In case of any discrepancy, the Ukrainian version prevails.
1. Warranty Period
1.1. All jewellery comes with a 12-month warranty from the day the item is handed over to the buyer (the date of the fiscal receipt or of receipt of the shipment).
1.2. For a warranty claim you will need: the item and the fiscal receipt (e-receipt) or other proof of purchase. We also recommend keeping the product tag.
1.3. After the warranty period expires, the Seller's liability for defects is determined by law (Art. 680 of the Civil Code of Ukraine): claims are possible within two years from handover, provided the buyer proves the defect arose before the item was handed over.
2. What the Warranty Covers
Manufacturing (factory) defects, including:
- defects of clasps, hinges and joints;
- loss of a stone due to a defective setting (prongs, bezel);
- peeling or blistering of plating (rhodium, gilding) under normal wear;
- defects of soldered joints;
- non-conformity with the fineness (assay) stated on the hallmark/tag.
In a warranty case we will, at our expense, repair the item (within 14 days), replace it or issue a refund — in accordance with Art. 8 of the Law of Ukraine "On Protection of Consumer Rights" and the Return & Exchange Policy.
3. What Is Not Covered
- mechanical damage: scratches, dents, deformation of a ring or chain caused by impact, pressure or snagging;
- a broken chain, or loss of the item or a stone for reasons unrelated to a defective setting;
- natural tarnishing of silver and wear of rhodium/gold plating through use;
- damage from contact with chemicals: household chemicals, cosmetics, perfume, chlorinated/sea water, sulphur;
- discolouration or damage to stones caused by heat, ultrasound or chemicals;
- consequences of repair, resizing or cleaning outside our service;
- ordinary wear and tear from constant use beyond the service life of the plating.
4. How to Make a Warranty Claim
4.1. Write to info@kabluchka.com or visit a store (17 Mazepy St. or 2 Sholom-Aleikhema St., Drohobych): describe the defect and attach a photo of the item and the receipt.
4.2. We will respond within 3 business days. In a warranty case, shipping the item for diagnostics and back is at the Seller's expense.
4.3. If the cause of the defect needs to be established, we will arrange an expert examination within 3 days at our expense (Art. 17 of the Law); if the buyer's fault is proven, the buyer reimburses the cost of the examination.
5. Jewellery Care
- Remove jewellery before sport, housework, showering, swimming and sleep.
- Avoid contact with perfume, creams and household chemicals; apply cosmetics before putting jewellery on.
- Store items separately from each other in a dry place (a box or soft-lined pouch) — jewellery boxes are available in our catalogue.
- Wipe silver periodically with a special cloth; do not use abrasives.
- Check stone settings; if a stone becomes loose, contact us and stop wearing the item.
